What time should I arrive for the ceremony? We invite you to arrive at 4:30 pm for welcome refreshments at the venue. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.
What is the dress code? Our dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire. Keep in mind that Provence can be quite hot, so we recommend light fabrics and shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass and gravel.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors? Our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be outdoors (weather permitting). We will head inside for dancing afterwards.
Are children invited to the wedding? Bien sûr! We would love for your little ones to join in the celebration. Just be sure to let us know whether you plan to bring your children when you RSVP, as we will be hiring a babysitter to watch over the children during the dinner and dancing.
Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue? Yes, we are planning to provide a shuttle from near Le Bristol in Avignon to the wedding and brunch the next day.
Do I need to rent a car? If you're staying at Le Bristol or anywhere in Avignon, you should not need to rent a car. The city is very walkable and Uber is available for longer trips. We can also provide phone numbers for taxi services in Avignon. If you decide to stay outside the city, it would be helpful to have a rental car as most areas are accessed by country roads where public transportation is not readily available.
Is there parking at the venue? Yes, there is plenty of parking at the chateau.
How do I RSVP? We are not ready to start accepting RSVPs yet. We will send out formal invitations in the next few months.
